Description
Ingredients:
- Valerian extract
- Lemon balm plant extract
Mechanism of action:
- Valerian and lemon balm have long been used as sedatives, anti-anxiety and stress relievers. These plants naturally affect the nervous system, causing relaxation and improving restlessness. Today, these plants are still used to improve anxiety, nervous tension and stress.
The active compounds in valerian produce a calming effect by stimulating the release and activation of inhibitory gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors and preventing their degradation. They also modulate the circulation of norepinephrine and serotonin in the brain and suppress stress responses by controlling blood corticosterone levels. Valerian is also effective in treating stress-related problems.
The active compounds in lemon balm prevent the degradation of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA, strengthen the brain’s cholinergic receptors, and protect the nerves. Lemon balm also has anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antimicrobial, anti-lipid, and anti-diabetic effects.
Neurocalm is formulated in such a way that the active ingredients in valerian and lemon balm extracts, including isoborneol, valeric acid, linalool, linalyl acetate, rosmarinic acid, and flavonoids, intensify and strengthen each other’s therapeutic effects, making the drug more effective.
