  The liver is one of the largest and most sensitive organs, especially in mammals and livestock. The functions of a healthy liver in livestock include regulating blood glucose production, detoxifying the body from ammonia, and producing antibodies. Liver diseases such as hepatic lipidosis, cholangitis, and chronic hepatitis are very common in livestock. Various types of poisoning, such as poisoning with plants, metals (copper, iron, and zinc), and various drugs, can lead to liver damage. Also, various types of bacterial, viral, and fungal infections can affect the liver.

Mechanism of action:

• Hepamarin is formulated based on the active ingredients of the milk thistle plant (silymarin). The milk thistle plant has been known to people all over the world for its high medicinal value since ancient times. Silymarin is the most important active ingredient in the milk thistle plant. Hepamarin protects the liver from damage caused by poisons, toxins, chemical compounds and free radicals through its anti-toxin, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Hepamarin is effective in treating various liver diseases, fatty liver syndrome and chronic and acute liver inflammatory diseases and prevents liver failure. The use of Hepamarin also helps to regenerate liver tissue and reduce liver burden caused by the use of antibiotics. By increasing bile secretions, Hepamarin helps to increase the metabolism and digestion of fats in the digestive tract and, in addition to improving absorption and conversion factor, prevents liver damage caused by the use of high-calorie and fatty compounds in the animal’s diet. In general, Hepamarin improves liver function and prevents and treats disorders and liver and gallbladder diseases in livestock.

Dosage and method of use:

• Animal:
• Administer 250 ml per 5000 kg body weight (0.5 ml per 50 kg body weight) using a drencher for up to 5 days. Consult a veterinarian if continued treatment is necessary.

• 250 ml per 1000 liters of drinking water
