Mechanism of action:

• The formulation of the drug Mitofid Plus is based on the effective ingredients of chamomile, thyme, eucalyptus and garlic plant extracts, and the main mechanism of action of this drug is in such a way that it affects the most important stage of the parasite’s life cycle. Each of the active ingredients in Mitofid Plus has different mechanisms, and the combination of these ingredients together causes strong anti-parasitic effects. Chamomile is one of the oldest and most widely known medicinal plants worldwide, with various therapeutic properties. The flowers of this plant contain large amounts of terpenoids and flavonoids. Apigenin is one of the most important flavonoids in this plant, which in addition to increasing the function of the immune system and repelling external parasites, is also effective in treating skin wounds caused by red mites. Thymol and carvacrol, the effective ingredients in thyme extract, stimulate blood circulation and regulate its flow, and their strong antibacterial and anti-parasitic properties, keep parasites away. Also, cineole in eucalyptus has the property of repelling parasites. Allicin is the most important active ingredient in garlic and is one of the best-known natural insect repellents. Allicin also improves the functioning of the immune system. The combined synergistic effects of these active ingredients make mites reluctant to feed and, as a result, repel them from the bird’s body, thus removing more than 90% of the mites from the bird’s body. By removing these mites, the stress on the birds is eliminated, resulting in increased performance and production of the flock. Also, the eggs produced by the poultry will no longer be infected with red mites. The transmission of viral and bacterial diseases at the flock level is reduced, and problems related to anemia and skin allergies no longer threaten the bird. The formulation of “Mytofeed Plus” is such that it strengthens the immune system and improves inflammation and allergic sensitivities caused by mites, increases the production and reduces ammonia in the litter. Mytofeed Plus increases egg weight, so the amount of methionine in the diet can be reduced by consulting with the farm’s dietitian. Unlike other traditional methods, using Mytofeed Plus is very easy and is used as a mixed powder in poultry feed.
