• DRBA is a portable bioassay system for rapid testing, identification and reporting of metabolic activity of cells, or microbes, in various samples. This innovative combination of technologies uses a proprietary growth medium, impedance change sensing and temperature-controlled incubation to rapidly detect biological activity/contamination. This integrated system automatically and continuously analyzes biological material(s) – including cells, their enzymes or other constituents – and immediately reports/alerts users and stakeholders in the fastest biologically feasible time. With high levels of contamination, DRBA can provide results in less than 120 minutes.
